about

This is our first album, and we believe you will find it strikingly different from your stereotypical Jazz-fusion album. Always a fan of theatrics, we decided to make a concept album that tells a story and is comprised of two contrasting acts. The first act contains fun and epic orchestral indie-rock style compositions with influences of many different styles, and the second act contains compositions of the jazz-fusion variety, which is primarily what we perform live. The halves are very different, but we hope you enjoy them both! There are guidelines and suggestions in the tunes as to what the adventure can be about, but the specific storyline is purely up to the individual listener, and can be interpreted however they deem fit. What we are trying to stress is that at the end of the day, music is music; individual genre stratification is good for cleaning things up occasionally, but we do not believe that they should dictate attitudes towards music. You are going to find very many influences in this album, and we hope that regardless the style that you may be hearing at any given moment, you can relax, enjoy, and let the music take you on a sonic adventure!
